By Train from Central

The Carrington Hotel is on the direct train line from Sydney's Central Railway Station. The Journey takes approximately 2 hours. Your travel is on the Blue Mountains, Intercity Line - Central to Lithgow (Katoomba is between Sydney and Lithgow).

Timetables are located here. Always check the timetables and the Government website just before your journey, as there are changes, track work etc etc etc.

• To Katoomba (April 14)
  To arrive for a 2pm start, we recommend taking the 9:55am from Central, which arrives at Katoomba at 11:56am
  Settle in, walk around the village, eat in one of the famous cafés or bakeries and then replete and refreshed, you will be ready to begin the exciting program unfolding over the next few days.
  
  
• Return to Central (April 17)
  From Katoomba, take the 1:24pm to arrive at Central Railway Station at around 3:30pm
  
  

Airport Shuttle - check the box on the registration form. Shuttle bus collects from Sydney's Kingsford Smith Domestic Airport Tuesday 14th April and returns on Friday the 17th.

The return ticket includes sandwiches on arrival and packed lunch-to-go for the return journey. $110/person, guest tickets also available.

• To Katoomba (April 14)
  The Airport shuttle leaves Qantas Domestic Terminal at Sydney's Kingsford Smith Airport at 10:30am. Meet near the Hertz counter.

The driver will meet the group at the Qantas Domestic Airport - near the flight arrivals monitor located at Baggage Claim #1, He will display a GeneMappers sign. Joan from MTCi will also be there to gather the group together. eMail your flight arrival details to the Secretariat, please.....

Those arriving at the Virgin Terminal (T2) please walk the short distance to the Qantas Terminal (T3).

Those arriving at the International Terminal, (T1) please make your way by Train (2 minute journey), taxi or shuttle bus to T3.

• Return to the Airport (April 17)
  Allow at least three hours for the return journey. Don't book domestic flights before 5:30pm, International flights before 7:30pm. Collect your packed lunch from Reception for the return journey.
