Themes and Programs

Framework:
The GeneMappers Conferences are organised as single-session meetings. Their main purpose is to draw together the divergent research areas represented in the field of Genetic mapping and provide common threads and themes, and shared technical and theoretical platforms. Academic fields represented include: statistics, medicine and genetics

The aim:
To advance collaborative research leading to understanding and eventually cures, for the major diseases represented at the meeting. A long-term goal, and one which we believe is achievable in the context of such highly-charged discussions, open sharing of data and challenge to established thinking, as is evidenced in the GeneMappers Conferences.
